| Description |
| The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA), on behalf of Commuter Resources Rhode Island (CRRI) seeks to procure the services of one or more vendors to provide vanpool service to commuters with trips that begin and/or end in Rhode Island. Vanpool is a mode of transportation that allows participants to share the costs associated with a vehicle that is to be used for commuting to and from work. Vanpools are primarily used to both reduce traffic congestion and air pollution. As part of this procurement, RIPTA will provide a subsidy to each eligible vanpool with the expressed intent of increasing the amount of vanpool activity in the state. |
